Here are the services I currently offer. Please note all of my one:one services are customized to fit your needs. My group classes are kept small to guarantee personal attention & support. Run Coaching & Plans
Customized: Variable monthly rate
I write personalized run plans with ongoing guidance, support, and coaching for runners. These plans include comprehensive education about running - WHY you are doing what you're doing - and individualized coaching to make running fun, sustainable and nourishing! The plans are 100 percent personalized so you want to go out and run versus it feeling like a chore.
In addition to the running, the plan includes all the things I believe are necessary to make healthy running happen, including:
* Discovering your full "effort rainbow" and learning how to run through it - aka, stop running your slow stuff too fast - and your fast stuff too slow.
* Running by effort and time v. miles and pace - effort based running is more sustainable and nourishing to the body and soul. Plus, your watch is inaccurate and too data obsessed - data matter, but needs context to be useful.
* The "why" behind every workout so you learn how running physiology works & you can be confident in your running & training cycles.
* Creating a sustainable physical, emotional, and mental framework so your running is relational to you & your life right now. As we grow and evolve as humans and runners, our toolboxes have to evolve as well.
* Mental skills coaching to build a dynamic toolbox you can use with confidence AND competence when you're training and racing.
* How to craft a race day strategy, then the know-how to execute a plan while you're out there on race day, including race day hydration and fueling.
* Connection to nutritionists who are trusted resources who can help you cut through the noise around nutrition fads when it comes to performance-based fueling strategies that work for you. Everyone is different and what works for your friend may not work for you.
* Injury prevention programming, drawing on my extensive experience as a yoga teacher and movement expert. We look at what runners need: mobility/strength/stability and how to craft an enjoyable cross-training program you’ll actually DO.
“Connect the dots” Run Form session
Customized: Variable hourly rate — Let me work with you on your running form! Everyone’s running form is as unique as their laugh. While I don’t believe in changing form, I do believe we can strengthen and optimize our form. I also believe we can better connect the dots between what we do to help us run healthy & strong - like strength training or stabilization exercises - and our actual running. This is a great option for those runners who want a highly personalized approach and are committed to breaking the “something always hurts” cycle before they end up in PT.
Running Regroup Call
Customized: Variable hourly rate — Are you stuck in a running rut? Is your running missing a certain spark right now? It’s normal, and it happens to all of us! I love “regroup and reboot” sessions with runners. These focused one:one sessions encourage us to take a step back, look at our running through new prisms, and see what’s working/where we need to reboot. When we reconnect top what we love about running, we can recommit to running as a practice, and find the inner spark needed to run again. It’s easy to get lost in our running and externalize what success means to us.
Yoga for Runners
$20/drop in class on Zoom— My popular and well-reviewed Yoga for Runners class combines the best of yoga with anatomy, physiology and why this will help your running every step of the way. Everyone receives a ton of attention, even in this group setting. Yoga’s come a long way from “stretching,” as I integrate the latest on physiology, anatomy and running research to create a dynamic framework where strength/stability/mobility/flexibility intersect with each other. This framework creates a comprehensive prehab and recovery experience that allows your body to handle the miles with physical and mental strength and focus. Additionally, breathing and mental focusing techniques are included in each class so you’re always training the most important thing of all, your brain.
One:one customized yoga session
Customized: variable rate — Are you intimidated by yoga and not sure where to start? Would you like to make yoga more “runner friendly"? Or maybe you want a session that focuses on you, where you can ask all the questions you want? Then consider a private session. Private sessions are a terrific investment in your runner toolbox, and can seed an effective practice that supports your running over time.
This class can take place online or in-person.
